You are eligible to become a full member if you live, work, worship, go to
school, or participate in any association headquartered within our
geographic boundaries: from 22nd St. on the North, to the city limits on the
South, and from Lake Michigan on the East to Western Avenue on the West.

You can join the South Side Community Federal Credit Union when you open a
Savings or "Share Account". Your savings account is called a "Share
Account" because you are a "shareholder" in the Credit Union.
The minimum amount to open account is $25.00, which is inclusive of a
one-time $10.00 membership fee.
When you join the Credit Union, you become an owner, not just a customer.
This allows you to vote in the annual elections for members of the Board of
Directors.
